Antibes Bridge et Jeux de l’Esprit, hereinafter referred to as ABJE is a non-profit association under the French Law of 1901, located at 17 Bd Raymond Poincaré 06160 Antibes (identification number. SIRET 9239175870001).

ABJE is the organizer of the FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL DE BRIDGE D'ANTIBES which takes place in Juan Les Pins every year.

Within this framework, ABJE offers packages to enable participants to benefit from negotiated rates under the sales conditions detailed below.

1)Acceptance of general sales conditions (GSC) and order 

a- An order is defined as any reservation request submitted by a participant for which availability is confirmed by ABJE

b- The participant acknowledges that he/she has read and accepts the terms and conditions in their entirety, as well as the specific conditions of the package ordered.

c- The participant is informed that in application of Article L221-28 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, all services offered by ABJE are not subject to the right of withdrawal as provided for online sales.

2) Packages

Packages include exclusively: 

• Return flights.
• Nice Côte d’Azur Airport/hotel transfers
• Hotel accommodation
• Hotel/tournament shuttle 
• Tournament registration fees 

The following are not included in the package price:

• Any transport costs other than those mentioned above (ex: home to airport …)
• Airport check-in fees and baggage not included in the original order
• Tourist taxes
• Breakfasts, meals and drinks 
• Transportation other than shuttle bus 
• Activities outside the tournament 

3) Prices

All prices are quoted in Euros and VAT is included.

Should the cost of air transport vary, ABJE reserves the right to pass on this variation to the participant.

4) Means of payment

The participant may pay by credit card or bank transfer in accordance with the information provided on the order form.

Cheques are not accepted.

5) Terms of payment

Packages are payable in 2 steps:

• 35% on the order day
• 65% before April 15. 2025

6) Cancellation/modification at participant's request 

All cancellations or modifications must be sent by e-mail to club@antibesbridge-ABJE.fr

ABJE undertakes to reply within 48 working hours. 

Any cancellation will give rise to the payment of fees depending on the date of cancellation.

• Up to and including April 15, 2025 35% of total price 
• From April 16, 2025 100% of the total price.

Flight changes are not possible (tickets cannot be changed or refunded). 

For any other modification, ABJE will look to accommodate the participant's request with a reasonable financial proposal. Without an alternative solution or agreement, the participant must withdraw his/her request for modification or cancel his/her package.

7) Cancellation/modification by ABJE

Should ABJE decide to cancel the festival prior to departure, for reasons of its own, it will inform the participant and reimburse any sums paid.  

If an hotel is unable to accommodate a customer, ABJE will look to find an alternative accommodation in Antibes/Juan les Pins.

 8) Supplements

ABJE cannot be held responsible for flight delays or cancellations, nor for travel or meeting restrictions imposed by any government or local authority.

In the event of damage or accidents occurring during the flight or related operations (boarding/deplaning/checked baggage), the air carrier's liability is limited by European legislation and the Montreal Convention of May 28, 1999. ABJE's liability can under no circumstances exceed that of the airline.

Loss or theft of tickets 

Participants are responsible for their tickets.  In the event of loss or inability to present the electronic tickets, the participant must deal with the incident directly with the airline and bear any costs incurred.
 

This document is governed by French law. In the event of translation, only the French text shall prevail.
